I, for one, had always loved the snake plant. It was a plant that took care of itself…

….and it wasn’t too needy like some other plants out there.

They were unassuming but powerful plants to have around your home or office.

Plus they were so easy to take care of! Well they used to be easy before this new humidity problem came up in Florida…

last year and ruined everything for all my houseplants downstairs. After that I do some research that about it.

There are many ways to care for a snake plant, but one of the most compelling methods is by ensuring the right humidity level.

One way to do this is by placing a humidifier nearby. Another way could be with the use of an organic misting bottle…

.,..or spraying water on it twice daily with room temperature water.

One last idea would be to place it in a location near something that will hold moisture…

…and not dry out too quickly such as under another piece of furniture or next to your kitchen sink.

The typical home has low humidity, yet many houseplants prefer a more humid environment. Some favorite houseplants come from tropical or subtropical regions where they flourish in the loamy, humid underbrush of a larger forest. • The Leaves Are Starting To Wrinkle – Apart from dropping leaves, they might also start to wrinkle.
• Yellowing of Leaves – When your plant’s leaves are not getting enough water or humidity, they become yellow.

• Curling of Leaves – Many factors can cause the leaves on a snake plant to curl, including low humidity, under watering, low temperature, and lack of light.
• Tips are Browning – without enough moisture on the leaves, they will begin to brown. Due to insufficient moisture content, nutrients are not delivered to the entire plant.
• Falling Leaves – If you notice that your leaves are falling over, you may have humidity and watering problems.
