Lawnmower Preparation

Enable parking mode on your Toro lawn mower by placing it on a level surface. Remove the mower’s spark plug.

Removing the mower’s front hood

The four screws holding the front cover to the mower can be removed with a socket wrench. Lift the mower’s front cover and remove the oil tank’s dipstick. Replace the dipstick in the oil tank after you remove the cover.

Unplug the Fuel Hole Connector

Track down where the mower’s petrol tank is. Pull it upwards while holding it in place with both hands. The fuel tank’s bottom has a connector. It’s referred to as the “fuel port.” It is primarily responsible for delivering fuel from the gas tank to the carburetor. Squeeze the fuel hose connection using a plier.

Clean the Fuel Hole and Reconnect.

For at least 15 seconds, spray carburetor cleaner into the carburetor’s fuel hole connection. Reconnect the gas tank’s gasoline hole connector now. A plier can be used to re-connect it.

Wipe the Fuel Bowl and Screw Clean

Remove the screw holding the fuel bowl to the carburetor with a socket wrench. It’s time to bring out that screw and that bowl.

In the screw, there are two little holes. The holes can be cleaned with a tiny wire inserted into them.

You’ll find liquid gas in the fuel bowl when you bring it out. It’s as simple as that. Clean the fuel bowl and screw with the carburetor cleaner. Wipe them down with paper towels or rags after cleaning.

Clean The Internal Parts

Now, inspect the carburetor float attachment. Clean the carburetor’s float and other internal components with carburetor cleaner. Wipe the carburetor down from top to bottom with a paper towel or rag.

Replace the Fuel Bowl and Screw

The bowl and the screw should now be reinstalled in their original positions. Tighten the screw with the socket wrench. Make sure that the carburetor and the fuel bowl are correctly aligned.
